The following table allows you to customize the options on your Comfort-Set thermostat. Begin by pressing simultaneously the
two buttons in step 1.
Electric / Gas Jumper (Fan Option)
If your emergency or auxiliary system will energize the blower, then
jumperW904,onthethermostatbase,mustbecut(seegureat
left).Ifyouremergencyorauxiliaryheatsystemrequiresthatthe
thermostatenergizethefancircuit,donotcutjumperW904.
O/B Terminal Switch Selection
The O/B switch on this thermostat is factory set to the “O” position.
Thiswillaccommodatethemajorityofheatpumpapplications,which
requirethechangeoverrelaytobeenergizedinCOOL.Ifthether-
mostat you are replacing or the heat pump being installed with this
thermostatrequiresa“B”terminal,toenergizethechangeoverrelay
in HEAT, the O/B switch must be moved to the “B” position.
